Avengers Endgame: Mark Ruffalo SLAMS Boris Johnson’s Brexit Hulk comparison
Over the weekend the Prime Minister compared the UK leaving the European Union to the Incredible Hulk breaking free. Speaking with the Mail on Sunday, Boris Johnson said: “Banner might be bound in manacles, but when provoked he would explode out of them. Hulk always escaped, no matter how tightly bound in he seemed to be – and that is the case for this country.”
The PM added: “We will come out on October 31 and we will get it done.”
While confirming that if negotiations with Brussels break down in the event of not reaching a withdrawal deal, he will ignore the House of Commons vote that orders him to delay leaving the EU until January 31.
Johnson said: “The madder Hulk gets, the stronger Hulk get.”
Now Avengers Endgame star Mark Ruffalo, who has played the Hulk across five Marvel movies, has hit back at Johnson’s comparisons.
The Bruce Banner actor, a supporter of socialists Bernie Sanders and Jeremy Corbyn, posted a front-page story of the Prime Minister’s Hulk comparisons before commenting on it.
Ruffalo tweeted: “Boris Johnson forgets that the Hulk only fights for the good of the whole.”

In the comics, She-Hulk is Jennifer Walters, the cousin of Bruce Banner.
Smart Hulk’s right arm was permanently damaged in Avengers Endgame when he used the Stark gauntlet to reverse Thanos’ Snap.
He was last seen with his arm in a sling, although it looks like it’s going to remain withered.
Nevertheless, as mentioned, he’ll be able to train up She-Hulk, especially in terms of controlling her anger.
She-Hulk has no release date although 2022 or 2023 in Phase 5 seems likely.
