Nintendo Switch games NEWS: Super Smash Bros Ultimate LEAK is good news for fans
Super Smash Bros Ultimate looks set to get another big new update on Nintendo Switch.
With the Nintendo Switch game proving so popular, it looks like the development team is planning to introduce new gameplay elements to keep fans entertained for even longer.
According to a recent leak (via Reddit), Super Smash Bros Ultimate will get two new game modes in an upcoming update.
This includes the return of the popular Home Run Contest, which sees players attempt to smash a sandbag as far as possible in a short time.
To get the best score and biggest distance, players must deal damage before hitting a big home run swing.
The leak also suggests that Super Smash Bros Ultimate will receive a stage builder mode in the next big update.
If it’s anything like the Wii U version, then the Stage Builder will enable players to draw their own platforms using the Gamepad.
Stages can be further customised with a selection of obstacles and items.
Nintendo is yet to officially confirm the new features, so it remains to be seen if they will feature in the game or not.
Fans are also waiting for more news on the release of the game’s next batch of DLC characters.
Nintendo previously announced plans to add Joker from Persona 5 into the mix.
Leaks have suggested that Joker will be joined by the Marine from DOOM and Ninja Gaiden’s Ryu Hayabusa.
Minecraft’s Steve has also been tipped to make an appearance as a DLC character, as well as Erdrick from Dragon Quest.
After teaming up with Ubisoft for Mario + Rabbids, perhaps Nintendo wil even think about including Rayman.
Another Street Fighter character would also be good, or maybe somebody else from the Final Fantasy series.
Nintendo should reveal more soon, so stay tuned for more information.
