5.24am: BECKY LYNCH BEATS RONDA ROUSEY AND CHARLOTTE FLAIR TO WIN RAW AND SMACKDOWN WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIPS

What a win for Becky Lynch but perhaps not in the way most of us were expecting.

The Man did get the pinfall on Ronda Rousey but it was a roll up rather than the dominant win so many of us wanted.

Still ultimately it was a satisfying end to see Becky Lynch leaving with both titles and a fine culmination to a superb WrestleMania overall.

It remains to be seen what the future for Ronda Rousey now holds. RAW will be must-watch tonight that’s for sure.

Thanks for staying with us through the night and be sure to check Express Sport for all the reaction! Now I’m off for some much-needed sleep.

5.17am: Becky Lynch has a table and there is no disqualifications in Triple Threat matches.

Things are about to get brutal. Charlotte is bleeding from her arm and Ronda Rousey is bruised severely on her left leg.

5.08am: It is quite a match so far as all three women as they are determined to make it known they deserved to be in the main event.

Ronda Rousey takes a nasty fall on the outside from a Becky Lynch dropkick.

She locks in the Disarm-her to Charlotte but Rousey breaks it up.

4.57am: The entrances are taking place and they are quite something. Charlotte Flair has arrived in a helicopter.

Ronda Rousey is played to the ring by rockstar Joan Jett and Becky Lynch makes an awesome entrance as well.

We are ready and the bell rings as the Triple Threat main event gets underway.

4.47am: It is time for the main event. Women will close the show for the first time ever.

It’s Ronda Rousey vs Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch!

4.43am: Finn Balor defeated Bobby Lashley to win the Intercontinental Championship

Balor shows some impressive power in dropping Lashley with a powerbomb. He then follows it with a Coup de Grace for the win.

The man from Northern Ireland is now a two-time Intercontinental Champion.

4.30am: Finn Balor has arrived as The Demon as he gets set to take on Bobby Lashley for the Intercontinental Championship.

This has been extremely fast-paced so far with Finn kicking out of the Spear.

Will we crown a new champion?

4.25am: Baron Corbin defeated Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle’s final match is underway against Baron Corbin. It perhaps wasn’t the match most wanted but we’re not getting John Cena or the Undertaker.

It looked like Angle was going to win but Baron Corbin shocked the world hitting the End of Days for the win.

What a weird end to a legendary career.

4.10am: Triple H beats Batista in a No Holds Barred Match

Ric Flair hands Triple H a sledgehammer and the rest is history. The Game nails Batista with it before delivering a Pedigree for the one, two, three.

That means His in-ring career continues.

4.06am: Well this has been brutal so far. Triple H has removed Batista’s nose ring with pliers.

The Animal has been put through the announce table with a Spear by the Game and Batista has hit the Batista Bomb.

Shawn Michaels on commentary cannot believe what is going on.

And now Triple H has his trusted sledgehammer in hand…

3.45am: I have no words for what I’ve just seen. I knew the entrances would be something to see for Batista vs Triple H but I wasn’t anticipating this.

First off Batista trips getting into the ring and I’m not sure how to even describe The Game’s entrance.

He comes through the ‘desert’ on a buggy and rides it down the ramp to weird music before his usual song plays.

I feel he’s outdone himself and it is made even worse when Michael Cole screams ‘How cool was that!’

Let’s see what the match holds.

3.24am: Elias is in the building! Here’s the biggest concert in WrestleMania in history.

It is time to Walk With Elias. But predictably none other than John Cena interrupts dressed as the Doctor of Thuganomics.

Cena spits some bars in true old school fashion before connecting with the F-U. Seemed like a bit of a waste of Cena honestly.

3.17am: Roman Reigns beats Drew McIntyre

The dream comeback from Roman Reigns. He secures victory with a huge Spear in a short match against the Scottish Psychopath.

Reigns is emotional in the ring afterwards after returning following a fight with leukaemia.

2.56am: The action keeps on coming at WrestleMania as the United States Championship is on the line.

Samoa Joe beat Rey Mysterio to retain the United States Championship

Before we can even get our breath back Samoa Joe puts Rey Mysterio to sleep with the Coquina Clutch.

Something tells me that wasn’t the original plan but the Master of the 619’s injury he suffered on RAW is a problem.

2.51am: Our reporter Kostas Lianos in MetLife Stadium on witnessing history made by Kofi Kingston:

“Kofi Kingston’s 11-year odyssey has come to an end.

“Kingston and Daniel Bryan gelled very well in the ring and worked the crowd expertly.

“Bryan got the fans worked up when he was picking the upper hand and Kofi got them on their feet when he came close to doing the impossible.

“Not sure what kind of WWE Champion he will make, but he deserves this moment

“The place erupted after Kingston won the title.”

2.44am: KOFI KINGSTON IS THE WWE CHAMPION!

Incredible! Kofi Kingston has won the WWE Championship for the first time ever with the Trouble in Paradise on Daniel Bryan.

Kofi kicked out of the Running Knee and escaped the Lebell Lock to turn things around.

In touching scenes afterwards Kingston is handed the proper title belt and he celebrates with his children in the ring.

Kingston and Xavier Woods are in tears and I’m not far off myself. Amazing, amazing moment.

2.33am: This has been a clinic and probably the best match on the show so far.

Kofi is pulling out all the stops to become the WWE Champion but Daniel Bryan is fighting with everything he has to retain.

Bryan very nearly locks in the Lebell Lock but Kofi escapes. What a match! Can Kofi do it?!

2.14am: It is KOFI MANIA time! Here come the New Day. Can Kofi Kingston finally become the WWE Champion?

2.07am: The IIconics beat Sasha Banks & Bayley, Nia Jax & Tamina and Beth Phoenix & Natalya

What a shocker! Beth Phoenix delivers the Glam Slam from the top rope onto Bayley.

Before she can pin the IIconics come in and throw them out of the ring before they get the one, two, three and we have new champions!

2am: The Fatal 4-Way Women’s Tag Team Titles match is underway.

Can Sasha Banks and Bayley retain their titles?

1.55am: Our reporter Kostas Lianos at MetLife Stadium on Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins:

“Seth Rollins did what he promised us he would do and he slayed The Beast.

“This is a moment that will live forever, but not because of the quality of the match.

“But because of WWE’s decision to start things off with the Universal Championship Match and Rollins’ shock victory.

“The reason behind this decision is uncertain, but it could be WWE’s way of pointing out how radically things have changed.

“A few years ago Pay-Per-View events would start with the Women’s Championship, now they end the biggest show of the year with all-women’s title matches and start with the world title.”

1.49am: Shane McMahon beats The Miz in a Falls Count Anywhere match

The Miz got his revenge as he kept hammering away at Shane McMahon before the two rivals ended up high in the crowd.

They fought on a scaffolding before The Miz suplexed Shane off to the floor!

In the end it was Shane who ended up on top of Miz though and got the one, two, three. Not that he knew anything about it.

WWE WrestleMania 35 LIVE: Shane McMahon somehow beat The Miz

1.37am: This is violent! The Miz and Shane go straight at it and this is quite something.

Shane gets on top and none other than the father of The Miz confronts Shane. It doesn’t end well for him and that sends The Miz into a rage.

Miz takes it to Shane McMahon in the crowd and among the international announcers. Can’t help but support Miz here. Come on Miz!

1.25am: Shane McMahon vs The Miz in a Falls Count Anywhere match is next and this could be great.

The Best in the World is about to test himself with The Miz being cheered like crazy by MwtLife Stadium.

1.20am: The Usos beat Ricochet & Aleister Black, Shinsuke Nakamura & Rusev and The Bar

The Usos are still the SmackDown Tag Team Champions. They connect with a double splash on Sheamus.

Ricochet and Aleister Black impressed throughout but were once again unable to capture the gold.

This was all sorts of fun though.

1.02am: The SmackDown Tag Team Championship is now on the line. This could be some match if given enough time.

Will The Usos retain or will we see new champions?

WWE WrestleMania 35 LIVE: AJ Styles has defeated Randy Orton

12.51am: AJ Styles beat Randy Orton

In a back and forth match Styles was able to avoid an RKO attempt and connect with a Phenomenal Forearm from the top rope.

Good match but nothing spectacular.

12.39am: Next up it is Randy Orton vs AJ Styles with King on commentary with Tom Phillips and Corey Graves.

I wonder if we will see a special RKO…

12.36am: Our reporter Kostas Lianos inside MetLife Stadium:

“The atmosphere here at MetLife Stadium is electric.

“People have travelled from all over the world to see their favourite superstars in action at The Showcase of the Immortals.

“The crowd is very active and can’t wait to witness some historic WrestleMania moments.

“We don’t yet know where the crowd is leaning regarding the main event, but we will surely find out soon.”

12.27am: Seth Rollins beat Brock Lesnar to win the Universal Championship

What a start to WrestleMania! Seth Rollins is thrown around like a ragdoll by Brock Lesnar outside the ring until they eventually go back inside and the match is underway.

The referee is then taken out of the equation by Lesnar and he pays for it as Seth low blows the Beast.

Three Stomps later and Seth Rollins is your NEW Universal Champion.

12.15am: Alexa Bliss comes out on stage and Hulk Hogan is introduced by the Goddess!

MetLife Stadium goes mad for the WWE hero as he does his usual spiel.

Paul Heyman stomps down the ramp and demands if they aren’t going on last then Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins are going on first!

12.05am: Here we go! It is time for WrestleMania LIVE from MetLife Stadium!

We’ve just had the American national anthem to kickoff the proceedings and the fans are ready for an exciting night of action.

What is going to be the first match though?

11.50pm: Braun Strowman wins the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Braun Strowman is a wrecking ball! He literally eliminates everyone.

Michael Che and Colin Jost hide under the ring and try and help eliminate Strowman with The Hardy Boyz but Braun retaliates and we are left with both of them and the Monster Among Men.

Jost introduces his therapist who gets slaughtered by Braun. Che is put over the top rope by Strowman as Jost almost eliminates the Monster!

Braun eventually throws him over though and thankfully this storyline is over.

11.37pm: The action keeps coming and it is now time for the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

Can anyone beat Braun Strowman? Michael Che and Colin Jost of Saturday Night Live fame will try…

11.28pm: NEW RAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder beat The Revival

Curt Hawkins has broken the streak! He gets the one, two, three with a Small Package and we have new champions.

The MetLife crowd erupt at what they witness. Great moment for borh Hawkins and Ryder there and hopefully a sign of the electric atmosphere we will see tonight.

11.12pm: More in-ring action now as The Revival are set to defend the RAW Tag Team Championship against Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder.

Is the 269-match losing streak finally going to end?

The action is evenly paced at the start with Corey Graves adamant he is supporting The Revival.

10.55pm: Carmella WINS WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal

This was quite entertaining with lots of women having nice spots. The Riott Squad were given plenty to do with Sarah Logan the last person to be eliminated by Carmella.

Logan even managed to get rid of former SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka.

Notable performances from Sonya Deville and Dana Brooke as well but in the end Carmella gets the victory!

10.44pm: The WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal is up next and we are underway with Nikki Cross going mad.

Ember Moon is back! Could she be a surprise winner? There’s also a number of stars from NXT involved.

10.35pm:  Tony Nese beat Buddy Murphy to win the Cruiserweight Championship

Yes! We have a new champion! It looked like Buddy Murphy was going to win when he connected with Murphy’s Law.

Nese somehow kicked off and then delivered a German Suplex to the champion into the turnbuckle.

That was quickly followed up by the Running Nese and we have our first title change of WrestleMania 35. Congratulations to Tony Nese.

This should be tremendous.

10.15pm: The Kickoff Show is live and we start with Coach hosting with Paige, JBL and Sam Roberts on the panel.

We get the usual build and rundown of the card before we go backstage and an interview with Xavier Woods and Big E.

They are understandably excited about the prospect of their team-mate Kofi Kingston winning the WWE Championship.

9.45pm: There are currently four matches scheduled for the Kickoff Show so let’s take a look at them first.

We will see Tony Nese challenge Cruiserweight Champion Buddy Murphy as well as the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal.

The second annual Women’s Battle Royal will also take place.

And just announced The Revival will defend the RAW Tag Team Championship against Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder.

Will Kofi Kingston finally achieve his dream of becoming WWE Champion? And what on earth is going to happen in the No Holds Barred match between Triple H and Batista?

WrestleMania has thrills and surprises every year and fans are waiting to see what happens this time with John Cena and Undertaker rumoured but not announced for the show.

If there’s one thing we know about WWE it’s you can never rule out anything!

9.15pm: Hello and welcome to the best day of the year for any serious WWE fan – it is of course WrestleMania!
